Today we have a really good piece of new... if you are stupid.
Aparently, with this regulation, the EU is going to reduce the price of mobile text messages installing a ceiling at 0,11 €. Let's think of this for a while... If this is going to work, why do this only on mobile phones?? Put a ceiling on the price of computers, cars, sausages, nike t-shirts, wiis, Michael Jackson CDs... If this is not going to work, what the hell are you doing??
Dear Mr Barroso first of all, you are not liberal at all, secondly, I do not know if you are dumb or dumber but for sure you have a big role in that movie: if you put caps on the price of some products, companies that do not find them profitable, stop producing them. That's just the way it is.
One more time, I hope this is pure demagogy. Very often I want my EU politicians to lie to me.

Obama, It's the economy stupid!!
In this 2008 presidential campaign everything seems much clearer and both candidates are certain that the economy has a central place in voters' decision and so they are giving it a lot of importance.
McCain knows for sure what is good for the economy: low trade barriers, more globalization, lower simpler taxes and give incentive to entrepreneurs.
Obama do not know what to say for sure: in his webpage he defends entrepreneurship with such a beatiful speech but then we see that their measures would drive the US more to comunism than to the country of entrepreneurs that he supossedly loves: He wants to raise the minimum wage, and give more power to the unions, making more difficult for entrepreneurs to hire people), difficulting free trade (he says this with the typical euphemism "fair trade"), making more difficult for entrepreneurs to make deals internationally and specially he addressed so many measures that imply an increase in public expenditure that would have to be accompanied by a raise in taxes (difficulting the creation of those entrepreneurs) and keeping the bad measures that brought this crisis.
Obama, if it's the economy, stupid, I would not vote for you.

Mafia do not care about us
In most of the crisis, mafias as government or labour syndicates reduce their burden over the rest of the society and that makes easier leaving crisis for the rest of the citizens. Now it seems that mafia feel very strong and do not care about the welfare of the rest of the country and so, there is not going to be a reduction in public spenditure nor a freer labour market.
Thanks to a crisis Ireland started making the right decisions and then manage to keep them for a long time and it got to be one of the richest countries in Europe, it seems that it is not the path that Spain is taking now...

My apologies
I write this post to make apologies in two issues:
Firt of all, I am sorry for being so late in writing again in this blog but I have been very busy at my job and then my computer broke down.
Secondly I have to admit that I thought that Sarkozy was going to be the liberal that we have been expecting for so long. Unfotunately he is nothing but the typical European politician: selfish and protectionist. We will keep waiting for a true liberal!! :D

Discriminated women
There is another assumption in economy which is that the entrepeneurs who start companies only want to profit, this one, luckily, is true.
Wise readers have already noticed that both statements cannot be true at the same time: if women earn less and produce as much as men, companies would only hire women as they are as good as men and cheaper (because that would skyrocket their profits). That would make women unemployment smaller than for men (which is untrue) and would rise women salaries until they were level with men (which seems to be untrue).
In reality things happen as if women were well paid, just as much as men, so something is going on that keeps women pay, on average, lower than men's. In our humble opinion there are two main reasons for this:
Firstly, women choose jobs which are less well paid. There is a vast majority of women as teachers, civil servants and other professions with lower remuneration.
Secondly, women for whatever reason, do not want to sacrifice their family or their private life for a better salary and that's why there are fewer women ruling companies.
Women may earn less, on average, because their lifestyles and their preferences when selecting job, takes them to earn less, but never because of a conspiracy to annoy women. There is no need in changing the rules to solve this, because there is no problem, just different tastes. The conclusion is always the same: government, syndicates and other mafia groups, leave us alone!! We do not need your help.

Gangsta's Paradise
Well... This has happen in Italy recently; the only difference is that this has been done not by terrorist nor by gangsters but by labor syndicates and syndicates can do this if they want. They are not definitely going to jail, all we hope is that, at least they don't get the money.
I guess Gangsta's Paradise was dedicated to us and the syndicates:

Recommended Film: Zeitgeist
Marcos G. Quintas recommended us this film in one coment and we think it is awesome. You may not think that the movie's opinion on some issues is right but if you are interested in politics you must see it. We think that Zeitgeist is right in almost everything.
You can watch it here, in its oficial webpage

Go Sarkozy!!
Recently, he is doing such a good job that we have no other option but to change our minds. Currently, he may be the only brave politician who do not surrender against the challenges of gangster groups such as syndicates or civil servants (or the worst, syndicates of civil servants).
Today, Sarkozy wants to remove the 35 hour week
